About the Job
As a Community Relation Officer, you will be the bridge between our brand and the outdoor community. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with outdoor enthusiasts, influencers, and organizations to foster a strong and engaged community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to create meaningful experiences and initiatives that resonate with our target audience.
In This role, you will get to :
- Community Building and Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to build and grow a vibrant outdoor community around EIGER products. Engage with outdoor enthusiasts through various channels, including social media, events, forums, and partnerships. Foster a sense of belonging, collaboration, and shared values within the community.
- Influencer and Ambassador Programs: Identify and collaborate with influential individuals and outdoor ambassadors who align with our brand values. Cultivate relationships, coordinate product collaborations, and leverage their reach and influence to amplify our brand message and engage with the community.
- Events and Experiences: Conceptualize, plan, and execute events, workshops, and experiences that bring the outdoor community together. Coordinate product demos, educational sessions, and outdoor adventures that allow community members to connect, learn, and experience our products in action.
- Content Creation and Curation: Generate engaging and informative content that resonates with the outdoor community. Create compelling stories, articles, social media posts, and videos that inspire, educate, and entertain our target audience. Curate user-generated content to showcase the experiences and achievements of our community members.
- Feedback and Insights: Act as the voice of the outdoor community within our organization. Collect and analyze feedback, opinions, and insights from community members to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer service initiatives. Share community sentiments, trends, and market insights with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.
What you will Need to Succeed :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community management, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the outdoor industry or retail sector.
- Strong knowledge and passion for the outdoor lifestyle, including activities such as hiking, camping, climbing, and outdoor sports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals and build strong relationships.
- Experience in managing social media channels, community forums, and online platforms for engagement and content sharing.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content and experiences that resonate with the target audience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
